Staff Bios

Dr. Margaret Gaines is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gerontology at the Univ of WA.  She joined the practice in 2003 as a consultant.  She is board certified in Geriatric Medicine and Palliative Care and has a passion and dedication for serving the frail elderly of our community.

Betty Westfall, owner and manager of In Home Primary Care earned her Master of Nursing from the University of Washington and is certified as an Adult Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP).  She earned her Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Wisconsin in 1972.  She is on the clinical staff at the U of WA.

Meredith Mechling has worked for In Home Primary Care for three years, taking care of the clerical/administrative part of the practice. Here education and background is in medical records, medical transcription and hospital medical staff coordination. Both Meredith and her husband have lived in Monroe for 15 years where they raised three sons.
